A grape variety very cultivated until the arrival of international varieties, it was often used to “soften” the acidity of the vespaiola to produce Torcolato di Breganze. Each courtyard and farm had a pergola of this variety. The old vineyards are grafted on “alberella”, the young ones on kober 5bb; and we breed them mainly double-flipped. The soils are volcanic with a clayey matrix. usually 8cai we harvest it in early September in general and we vinify it in white, sometimes with a slight maceration on the skins for 24-36 hours. We obtain a still, greedy and easy to drink wine with an intriguing flavour; traditionally, it was the product of the vineyard that welcomed guests who went
to the breganzesi farms.
